OH MUH FEELS!!! We’re far enough out from when Undertale was released that I’m not going to hold back on spoilers.

Right at the end of the Asriel fight when he starts remembering the good memories with the main character, he starts not wanting to hurt you. To the point where he actively avoids hitting you with all his attacks, except his final attack. The look of pain he has when he tries to finally kill you is one of the most heart wrenching scenes I’ve seen in games. I’m watching the video of the final fight while I write this to make sure I have all the information right, and I’m getting the same chills I did when I saw it the first time.
