It’s been years since I’ve played the Pokemon knockoff, Robopon.  Although it didn’t have the same draw as Pokemon, it was still fun in its own right.  You didn’t throw a pokeball to capture.  You used a magnet.  Evolving was its own weird thing too.  If I remember correctly, you had to combine 2 Robopon together to evolve.  I think everyone who enjoys Pokemon should at least check out a video of this to see what its about.
